Even though I have primarily worked in Digital Design I still have a deep love for printed design and graphics, especially in the form of posters and zines.

Luckily during my time at Nails.INC I have been able to expand my print design practice, and have created a number of press releases and flyers as well as led the packaging design of a product in collaboration with The Summer I Turned Pretty for Amazon Prime. I feel confident working with print-ready files and packaging and would like to hone this skill further in the future.

AONB Poster Series
(Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty)

The Telegraph reported in 2017 that 12% of 18-24 year olds had never seen a cow in real life. And a fifth said that they had never left the city that they live in.

An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) is an area of countryside in England, Wales or North Ireland which has been designated for conservation due to its significant landscape value.

Out of the 46 assigned AONB, at least 8 are easily accessible via train from Central London with journeys averaging around 2 hours long.

Focusing on 3 of these AONB, I created a series of large screen prints encouraging young people to leave the polluted city and explore the natural landscapes on their doorstep.

Note to Self

Note To Self came about as I worked on a making-through-thinking approached brief during my third year at Camberwell College of Art.

After writing, stamping and posting a series of letters to myself over two weeks I wanted to transform the context in which one would usually see a personal letter in.

I ended up creating two large scale posters each printed with a note that I had written to myself. However, rather than publish my private thoughts straight onto the posters I created them in a way that meant they could only be read if you put in a little effort.

The first poster is debossed and can be only be seen in certain light and at certain angles. The second poster is covered in a scratch-off adhesive which needs to be removed to read the content.
